Connextions Program
Employment supports and services to women and gender-diverse newcomers, ages 18+.
Our services are open to women and gender-diverse newcomers of any citizenship status (i.e. Temporary Residents, Permanent Residents, Refugees, Canadian Citizens born outside of Canada).
Job Seeker Network
If you are a newcomer woman or gender-diverse person in Newfoundland, the Job Seeker Network can offer confidential and non-judgmental peer support and community connection. The Job Seeker Network is a combination of workshops, guest speaker sessions, topics-based group meetings, and meetings hosted with our community partners.
Group meetings are co-led by trained Peer Support Volunteers and YWCA staff Coordinators. The Job Seeker Network meets regularly with options for online or remote, and daytime or evening sessions.
