Guided by YWCA Canada, YWCA St. John’s is part of a network of 29 YWCA’s across the country working together on national advocacy priorities.

YWCA Canada creates change through informed advocacy which aims to:

  1. End gender-based violence

  2. Implement national child care

  3. Achieve economic equality

  4. End homelessness for women, girls, and gender diverse folks
